About

We started with a worn notebook.

Naomi Feldman kept a notebook for her father: his glucose numbers, his blood pressure, his questions for the doctor. It was the only way to make sense of the days between visits. Cadence is that notebook, finally doing some of the work.

Why Cadence

Managing a condition is already a full-time job.

Living with a long-term condition means tracking readings, remembering medications, and trying to recall at your next appointment how you actually felt three weeks ago. Most people do this in a mix of notes, phone photos, and memory. It is harder than it needs to be.

The care team wants to help, but a ten-minute appointment cannot surface everything that happened in the weeks before it. The gap between visits is where most of daily chronic-condition management happens, and it is mostly unsupported.

Modern language models can read plain, messy human notes and understand them. That changes what is possible. A tool that reads “felt tired after lunch, reading was 148” and turns it into a gentle week of trends, a question for the doctor, and a summary to bring to the visit is now buildable. That is what we are building.

Naomi Feldman

Co-founder and CEO

Spent years helping her father manage type 2 diabetes and high blood pressure, keeping his numbers and questions in a worn notebook between visits. She built consumer products before Cadence and wanted the notebook to finally do some of the work.

Co-founder and CTO

Worked on natural language systems for a decade, teaching software to read messy, human writing. He wanted to point that work at the plain-language notes people actually keep about their own health.

From language AI

Cadence is backed by Fieldhouse Ventures, with angel support from Dr. Priya Raman (endocrinologist angel) and Tom Whitaker. We are building full time on AI because we believe this is the right moment to make chronic-condition support genuinely helpful for the first time.

What we hold to

Four things we do not compromise.

The person first

Cadence exists to make one person's day a little easier. Every decision starts there.

Stay in our lane

We support. We remind. We surface patterns. We never diagnose, never give treatment advice, and always point to a clinician for medical decisions.

Honest about AI

We say what the AI does, where it might be wrong, and what it cannot do. No hype. No black boxes.

Built to be trusted

People share health information because they believe it will help them. We earn that trust carefully and protect it absolutely.

Build Cadence with us.

Whether you want to use it, join the team, or talk about what we are building, we would love to hear from you.
